MOUNTAIN ROOTS AI PRIVACY POLICY

Mountain Roots AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how and when we collect, use, share and retain personal information when you purchase a digital product from our Etsy shop, contact us through Etsy or otherwise use our services through Etsy.

This policy applies to Mountain Roots AI’s handling of information. It does not apply to Etsy or other third parties that we do not own or control. Please review Etsy’s Privacy Policy for information about Etsy’s own privacy practices.

1. INFORMATION WE RECEIVE

When you place an order or contact us, Etsy may provide information necessary to process the transaction and support your purchase. Depending on the transaction, this may include:

• Information necessary to address customer-service, legal or security concerns

We do not receive or store your complete credit-card or payment-account credentials. Payments are processed by Etsy and its payment providers.

5. DIGITAL PRODUCT DELIVERY

Digital files are hosted and delivered through Etsy. Once Etsy confirms payment, buyers can access eligible files through their Etsy Purchases and Downloads page or through the link provided by Etsy.

We do not require buyers to provide additional personal information outside Etsy to receive standard instant-download products.

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy.

We may retain transaction records for up to four years, or longer when required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or other legal purposes. Information that is no longer required will be deleted, anonymized or allowed to expire where reasonably practicable.

Etsy may independently retain information according to its own policies and legal obligations.

7. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Mountain Roots AI and the service providers involved in operating our Etsy shop may be located in the United States or other jurisdictions. As a result, information may be processed in a country with privacy and government-access laws different from those in your country.

Where required, personal information will be transferred and processed using legally recognized safeguards or another lawful basis. Etsy separately controls the international transfers it performs through its platform.

Customers should not send sensitive information, passwords, payment-card numbers or confidential client data through Etsy Messages or completed workbook files.
