Custom and personalized orders
If you have an idea for a custom order that you do not see in my shop, message me and I will let you know if I can make it for you. Custom orders are fun to make. I enjoy hearing what my customers come up with and seeing it come in to reality.
Gift wrapping and packaging
The paid gift wrapping option typically will include your ordered item packaged in a box (if jewelry) while other items may vary, then wrapped in a muted gold metallic paper and trimmed with sheer black fabric ribbon. Handwritten gift message may be added.
Without the paid gift wrapping option, if item ordered comes in a gift box, it will be noted in the item description.
Care instructions
---Aluminum, Pewter, Brass, Copper and Stainless Steel---
>To prolong shine, do not wear in hot tubs or pools
>Try best to keep cologne/perfume off of the metal
>Limit wear around water to keep painted areas looking newer longer
>Always keep away from corrosive materials or acids
>Clean using a polishing cloth, no harsh abrasives
>Refrain from overbending metal (ex: cuff bracelets, clips or rings) as repeated bending will weaken the metal and in time it can snap in two
>Aluminum and Stainless Steel is hypoallergenic and will not rust or turn skin green. Aluminum may slightly darken in time but can be polished with cloth.
>Copper, brass and pewter is NOT hypoallergenic and will tarnish/patina in time. These require more frequent cleaning.

What is a Handstamped Metal Item?
A handstamped metal item is made using steel stamps, hammers and/or presses. Each letter, number or singular design element is made using a hammer striking a single steel stamp leaving an impression in the metal which may later be colored in with enamel or by another darkening process. Due to this singular stamping of letters and numbers, the letters and numbers may not be exactly in line or spaced. Depths of impression may vary as well. This adds to the handmade, hand hammered, hand finished look of the piece. As a result items I create will have slight variations and no two will be identical giving you something a little more unique and precious. Some items will be tumbled giving them a nice finish, shiny and smooth, satiny texture.
The letters on my handstamped metal item are not as colored in like they were when it was new, what can I do?
Refreshing your handstamped lettering on metal with new enamel/color is fairly easy to do from home. There are paint pens at your local craft store that can be used to fill in the letters/numbers. Once the paint dries, buff it off of the metal while leaving the paint in the impressions. Permanent markers may be used as well. Same process, fill in then buff over and leave in impressions. If you contact me I can recommend which pens/markers to use.
If your piece has enamel in the impressions, take care not to chip it out with a fingernail etc. The paint adheres to the metal well when undisturbed inside the impression (letter/#/design). It will come off if chipped or scrubbed out. Prolong your enamel by using buffing cloth to clean surface.
What cannot be returned or exchanged?
Burned candles, soap, bath salt, oils and other "intimate" and or health/hygienic items cannot be returned. Damaged items from misuse (scratched, dinged) cannot be returned. Jewelry cannot be returned if damaged from over bending, excessive bending and or otherwise not adhering to care instructions as outlined in this FAQ or in care instructions enclosed in shipped order.
