Un poco sobre mí... Amanda.
En primer lugar, amo al Señor Jesús con todo mi corazón, alma y mente.
En segundo lugar, soy esposa y madre. Mi familia está formada por 1 esposo llamado Jacob, y tres niños absolutamente adorables y amantes de la diversión que resultan ser trillizos. Sus nombres son Elijah, Ethan e Isabella.
Soy una madre de educación en el hogar que enseña clásicamente con un fuerte toque de Charlotte Mason.
Mi experiencia es en diseño gráfico y gestión de marca y he sido dueño de mi agencia durante 18 años. Pero cuando llegaron mis hijos... Ya sabes, todo a la vez, ese negocio pasó a un segundo plano. Cuando comencé mi aventura de educación en el hogar, vi que había algunos materiales que quería armar yo misma, luego había otras madres que pensaban que mis materiales también podrían ser buenos para sus familias, así que aquí estoy con estos recursos para cualquier persona que tenga necesidad.
Dibujo, pinto y siempre estoy listo para cualquier tipo de proyecto de arte que no incluya demasiado brillo o sustancias pegajosas como goo.
Este proyecto es el primero que estoy vendiendo en Etsy y es súper aterrador ponerme ahí fuera, pero aquí estoy y espero que encuentres lo que he creado para ser súper útil para tus hijos. Mis hijos se han acostumbrado a hacer geografía de esta manera y a la temprana edad de 7 años no solo pueden nombrar sus estados y capitales, sino que pueden dibujarla libremente junto con muchas de sus características físicas.
Me encanta la educación en el hogar por muchas razones, de las cuales es mi capacidad de aprender junto a mis hijos ... Hago estas lecciones con ellos y obtengo mucha información sobre cómo aprenden los niños. Y estoy asombrado y humilde por el proceso.
Cosas que me encantan... sonreír y reír, juegos, tiempo tranquilo (¡aunque no tengo mucho de eso!), leer, dibujar, pintar, mi café de la mañana, velas, aromaterapia, escuchar a mis hijos reír, naturaleza, ejercicio (¡especialmente mientras veo una buena película de acción!), Mis hijos jugando con mi cabello, mi esposo (es súper lindo) y mis hijos (¡que también son lindos!).
Cosas que no me encantan... situaciones complicadas, café frío, tener frío, una casa sucia, tardanza, las palabras "¡No puedo encontrar mis zapatos mamá!", pelear con niños, televisión, tabletas y teléfonos inteligentes que son abusados, y enumerar cosas que no amo ... ¡ja!
A little about myself... Amanda.
First and foremost, I love the Lord Jesus with all my heart, soul and mind.
Secondly, I am a wife and mother. My family is made up of 1 husband named Jacob, and three absolutely adorable, fun loving kiddos that happen to be triplets. Their names are Elijah, Ethan, and Isabella.
I am a homeschool mom that teaches classically with a strong hint of Charlotte Mason.
My background is in graphic design and brand management and I've owned my agency for 18 years. But when my kiddos arrived... ya know, all at once - that business took a back seat. When I began my homeschooling adventure I saw there were some materials that I wanted to put together myself - then there were other moms that thought that my materials might be good for their families too - so here I am with these resources for anyone that has need.
I sketch, paint and am always up for any sort of art project that doesn't include too much glitter or sticky goo like substances.
This project is my first that I'm selling on Etsy and it's super scary to put myself out there - but here I am and I hope that you'll find what I've created to be super helpful to your kiddos. My children have become accustomed to doing geography this way and at the young age of 7 can not only name their states and capitals, but they can free draw it all along with many of its physical features.
I love homeschooling for many reasons, of which is my ability to learn alongside my children... I do these lessons with them and gain so much insight in how children learn. And I am amazed and humbled at the process.
Things I love... smiling and laughing, games, quiet time (although I don't get much of that!), reading, drawing, painting, my morning coffee, candles, aromatherapy, listening to my children giggle, nature, exercise (especially while watching a good action movie!), my children playing with my hair, my husband (he's super cute) and my kids (which they're cute too!).
Things I don't love... complicated situations, cold coffee, being cold, a dirty house, lateness, the words "I can't find my shoes mom!", fighting kids, TV, tablets and smartphones that are abused, and listing things I don't love... ha!
