All patterns are available in PDF format only. All files will be available for download once payment is completed. You can view your purchase and download your files this way: 1) Sign in to your Etsy account. 2) Click on "You" at the top right of the page. 3) Click on "purchases and reviews." 4) Click on your pattern purchase; your files will all be there.

Specific length and width information is found within each listing. Directions for adjusting pattern length and width (when applicable) are included in the pattern instructions.

I do not allow refunds on any downloaded files. If you change your mind before the files are downloaded, contact me using the Etsy conversation tool, and I will refund your money and cancel your order.

I cannot provide technical assistance with your download or with printing your files. Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, and then call someone you know who is good with computers.

The price of the pattern does not include assistance with understanding the directions or making the stole. Since I have been selling stole patterns (Over 700 at the time of this update), only approximately 5% of buyers have contacted me because they did not understand the directions. Most of these questions would have been answered by reading all of the directions and studying the photos accompanying the steps. Less than 5 questions since I started selling patterns had anything to do with something that was truly unclear. All of these issues have been corrected.

These are not beginning level sewing patterns. Your skills should be such that you can make a garment that does not look "home made." Sometimes experienced quilters have trouble with the pattern directions if they have never made a garment. Keep in mind that even with sewing experience, making a stole is different from more common sewing projects, so it is helpful to read the directions from start to finish before beginning.

If you have ordered a Byzantine Overlay Stole, straight/cross-over stole, or any version of the Western Deacon stole instruction booklets, please note that the listing descriptions clearly state that a pattern for the stole is not included because it is easier to cut the stole with a quilter's rule and cutting mat. The number one question I receive about the Byzantine instructions is where to find the pattern.

All of the patterns I have available can be found in my pattern store. The plan is to add more patterns for some of my simpler designs as I have time. I keep a very full schedule of stole orders in spring and fall, and patterns take significant time to develop, so I may add one or two patterns a year, and I cannot fill custom requests.
