The Creation of Clever Clover
I am currently an art student at the community college. My mother got me into crafts at a young age and being an artistic person, I picked things up quick. Now working in my craft room has become an everyday thing for me. My personality is extremely flexible and I am always looking for something new to do, so I have become a jack of all trades. That said I have a very large range of skills and have a large variety of arts and crafts to sell.
So "Why open an Etsy Shop?" I have a couple of reasons:
The first is to help finance my obsession with crafting.
Another reason is because is because my home is bursting with crafts, literally. At every craft show there is only so much room at one table and I can't sell all of the creations I make especially the custom orders.
As my Husband puts it my "hobby" has begun to outgrow my "habitat". So this shop is basically to help clean out my workshop full of crafts and art projects.... So that I have room to make more crafts and art projects.... to sell on Etsy.... So that I can make more crafts and art projects.... You get the idea.
However the reason which stands out the most... is that I want to share what I make. I am not out to be a billionaire but I do want people to buy my work and love it. It makes me happy to think there are items I made being sent all over the world, coming to rest on someones doorstep and their smile as they peek inside the box.
