Clinkerman and his Early American Ironwork Recreations

Jamie Tyree is an East Tennessee blacksmith specializing in hand-forged ironwork inspired by early American and colonial craftsmanship. Working from his home forge for more than 40 years, Jamie creates historically accurate hearth cooking tools, house hardware, and functional ironware using traditional blacksmithing methods and a coal-fired forge. His work is sought after by collectors, reenactors, and historic home enthusiasts who value authentic craftsmanship, durability, and the character that only true hand-forged iron can provide. Each piece is individually made by hand with the goal of creating functional heirlooms built to last for generations.

Jamie has been a professional blacksmith for over 20 years in his small shop in East TN, recreating early American ironware pieces and hearth cooking tools. His handmade recreations are a hit with period re-enactors and living history enthusiasts.

Mike joined the shop in 2020 as a full time apprentice. He’s has shown real talent as a forger and has turned out to be a tremendous asset to Clinkerman!
