It deters art thieves from illegally downloading, printing & profiting from my work without my consent. Art theft is sadly rampant online & I've had my images stolen more times than I can count. It takes time to track down & report hundreds of thieves across dozens of platforms, so watermarking saves me literal days of work each month.

It's illegal to use artists' work without our permission & art thieves threaten our livelihoods by exploiting art lovers & stealing sales that would otherwise support actual artists.

If you see my work on a site that doesn't properly credit me or link back to my website, it's likely being used illegally. If you see something, please say something so I can report it.

No digital downloads. Reproduction quality is important to me & I have no control over how often digital files are printed or what they're printed on.

No NFTs. I'm a traditional artist, not a digital artist & my art is intended to be sold in tangible form. My art is already free for anyone to view (not to illegally resell!) online, so I don't consider digital copies of my work to be necessary, relevant, or valuable.

Generative images are NOT art. Typing keywords into a glorified search engine filled with stolen imagery reduces inspiration to a meaningless soup of derivative uniformity & intellectual stagnation. It's boring, lazy & highly offensive.

If you see my art as an NFT or in an AI database, please let me know so I can report it.

Generally, no. I am not able to accommodate any requests for changes to colour, costume, accessories, cat breeds, backgrounds, etc. I'm a traditional watercolour artist, not a digital artist, and the pieces I've already created are intended to remain as is.

I can occasionally accommodate custom print sizes if the requested ratio doesn't distort the integrity of my original image. Please note that one-off prints are more expensive, because they require additional retouching labour from me & they're not included in the standard bulk print pricing I normally receive from my production partners.

I review custom print size requests on a case by case basis & reserve the right to reject requests at my discretion.

I love seeing tattoos inspired by my work! All I ask is that both you & your artist credit me as the inspiration when sharing the finished piece on social media so that we can cross-promote.

I happily combine shipping for multiple items & I offer free USPS Ground Advantage shipping for US orders over $35!

I do not offer letter-rate shipping. All of my items - from single postcards to original watercolours - are shipped in boxes or rigid/padded mailers designed to keep them flat & protected.

In my 15+ years of shipping experience, I've found that items sent in standard envelopes come with no tracking options & unfortunately run a higher risk of being lost or damaged in transit. It's important to me that every item reaches you as safely & securely as possible.

USPS Ground Advantage rates can seem high for single items, which is why I offer free shipping for orders over $35. Feel free to contact me if you have any concerns.

Please note: I cannot be held responsible for any international delays or customs fees, taxes, duties, or tariffs that you may incur past the point of sale. These fees are not included in the shipping price (I have no way of calculating them) & are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Please check with your local Post Office prior to purchase if you have any concerns about your country's import policies.

I ship Mondays & Fridays via USPS Ground Advantage Mail (barring travel), so multiple days can elapse between the day I print the shipping label & my next USPS drop off.

You can track your package at usps.com using the tracking # included with your order. The only info I have is what the tracking # shows; but if you haven't received your order within 2 weeks (US) or 6 weeks (int'l), let me know & I'll work with USPS to resolve the issue.

It's important to me that your package reaches you as safely, securely & quickly as possible! I unfortunately have no control over packages once they leave my studio, so please understand I am not responsible for carrier related delays, or the loss or theft of packages after they're marked as ‘delivered.'
