Created From Lived Experience
People often have trouble describing exactly what their gift is. I don't.
My gift is seeing patterns—especially the ones that keep people stuck.
Over the years, I've become fascinated by the relationship between fear, behavior, and healing. I find myself listening not only to what people say, but to what sits beneath it. Often, beneath the overthinking is fear. Beneath the fear is a belief. And beneath that belief is a survival strategy that once served a purpose but has long outlived its usefulness.
I've spent years studying trauma, nervous system responses, emotional healing, EFT tapping, human behavior, and the stories people carry about themselves. What I've learned is that most people are not broken. More often, they are protecting something.
The person who constantly worries may be trying to create safety. The person who struggles to receive help may have learned that self-reliance was the only dependable option. The person who feels guilty wanting more may have absorbed the belief that their needs come at someone else's expense.
These patterns are rarely random. They make sense once we understand where they came from.
That understanding is the foundation of every workbook I create.
My goal is not to tell people who they should become. It is to help them understand why they respond the way they do, so they can meet themselves with greater clarity, compassion, and choice. When we understand the purpose behind a pattern, shame begins to loosen its grip. What once felt confusing starts to make sense. What once felt permanent begins to feel changeable.
The workbooks in the One Step Closer to Freedom™ series were created with that belief in mind. Each one is designed to help uncover the hidden agreements, fears, and assumptions that quietly shape our lives, while offering practical tools for creating something different.
My hope is simple: that somewhere in these pages you will recognize yourself, understand yourself a little more deeply, and discover that healing is often less about becoming someone new and more about returning to who you were before fear convinced you otherwise.
The changes that transform our lives rarely happen all at once. More often, they happen through a series of small insights, honest moments, and choices that slowly move us toward greater freedom.
