5 out of 5 starsI purchased WC Pale Fawn. I was surprised at how white it was--nothing like Doll Baby presewn body. So I dyed it.
First I tried 0.6ml ea. Sandstone and Apricot Orange Rit Dyemore. Then using the already dyed fabric, I tried 1.2ml each Red, Sandstone, and Apricot. It was too orange. Then I tried .6ml apricot orange to the non-dyed piece. It was just a tad too light. So I put it in again with a new batch of .6ml apricot. It changed very slightly. Here are the photos of the end results of the fabric next to a sample of Dolskin Flesh, WC Flesh, WC Pale Fawn, and Presewn Doll Baby body. The fabric that was "too orange" matches the WC Flesh. The fabric that I dyed .6ml apricot once looks almost identical to the Dolskin Flesh. After dyeing it a second time with the .6ml apricot looks very close to the Presewn Doll Baby body. -

5 out of 5 starsI bought this pattern thinking I would make a baby fairy for my Grandkids. This is more of an ART pattern-rusty wire and paint. After looking thru the very thorough instructions, I think I can easily adapt the pattern to my needs. I am very pleased with my purchase.
