Additional policies and FAQs
All fiber is dyed by me using professional acid dyes and the hot Texas sun, resulting in one-of-a-kind colorways made with love and moxie in Houston, Texas.

Photos are of the actual items for sale. I try my best to ensure that colors are accurate on my Asus display, but they may vary on other monitors.

I spin and buy hand-dyed fiber, too, and so take every precaution to ensure proper and awesome handling during the dyeing process. I <3 solar dyeing so much because it allows for striking colors with minimal handling/compacting!

All fiber is rinsed in cool water after dyeing. I do my best to ensure that there is no dye runoff, but some colors may bleed a bit in the first wash. For best results, please wash items made from this fiber by giving them a nice gentle soak in cool water with a bit of quality wool wash.

Due to the nature of solar dyeing in glass vessels, air bubbles can occasionally prevent dye from permeating the fiber. As a result, in rare circumstances a braid may have one or two small spots of undyed white wool amidst the glorious colors. I do my best to ensure that air bubbles are eliminated before letting the wool set, but it can be difficult to "find them all," as it were. If you receive fiber that has several white spots or is not up to your standards, by all means please send me a message!

Custom orders and wholesale inquiries welcome!
