Welcome to the Weaving!
At Cloth of Kin, every thread carries a story. I’m Anna, a weaver and textile artist working off-grid in Alberta, Canada, where I handcraft woven cloth inspired by my Scandinavian lineage and the spirit of kinship that connects all beings.
I weave for people who sense that cloth can carry spirit, for those searching for something ancient, grounding, and quietly powerful to hold close in their lives. My weavings are offerings to the archetypes that guide human experience: love, journey, birth, renewal, and belonging. Each piece calls to those who are remembering their connection to these deeper forces.
The people drawn to my work are sensitive, intelligent souls - artists, teachers, healers, and seekers - drawn to meaning as much as to beauty. They choose handmade things not only for how they look, but for how they feel and what they symbolize. When they wrap themselves in my cloth, they’re seeking comfort, ceremony, and connection. They want to feel held by something that carries integrity, something that feels alive.
My textiles offer a moment of reconnection: a reminder that beauty can be medicine, that spirit lives in the details, and that we are still woven into something greater.
I weave to heal the space between spirit and form, so that those who long for reconnection can remember their belonging to the living world.
