I hope when you visit my Etsy shop or find my artwork online it brings a smile to your heart. Please know while creating my original pieces I pull inspiration from many places. Yes I look on Pinterest to spark something within my soul. From that point my mind is full of racing thoughts. I start by adding paint to my canvas, use a pencil to roughly sketch in some lines, sometimes intentional some of them are not. I allow myself to feel the canvas, to feel what is inside of me, to simply let go. It's such a long process. I may paint over some areas or wipe them back. People have ask my how long have you been drawing...I smile and "say I can't draw." I really can't. It's not my process..I paint.

So many of my paintings are purchased by someone who sees them and they tell me a story about themselves that resonates with them. They feel it in my artwork. My daughter says I'm a medium between someone whom I have never met, but yet each of my paintings are made for a very specific purpose. I love talking with people who visit my art show booth. Hearing their story and why a specific piece resonates with them. I am truly blessed to be given a talent and to share it with others, whether it be to help them smile, to help them heal, to bring back a memory. It's real, very real. As you look through my paintings, stop for a moment...listen...feel.. ask yourself why you are drawn in by it. You too will know my artwork is painted from my soul...just for you!
