A wee bit of this and a wee bit of that.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, there were many factors that lead to opening this shop. For starters we had a need to make cloth masks. I didn't know quite what to do about that considering my sewing machine and I had a rough start 20+ years ago and weren't on the best terms.
Our family was also spending a lot of time at home and this meant that we were together all the time. This is all well and good and I am thankful we were fortunate enough to be able to do that but it also meant trying to make space and time for each person to be alone.
With the lack of visitors, I decided we didn't need a guest room any longer. I turned my guest room into my craft room, which had been in the depressing basement.
With the addition of this light and inspirational space, I decided it was time to continue doing what I loved, crafting, and to learn how to use my sewing machine.
Fast forward two years later and I love my machine, we're on much better terms and we are now able to do even more of what we love.
My grandfather was a very important man to me, he passed away in 2021 and that was my motivation to start this shop and name it Cloverleaf Creations as a nod to my grandfather's Irish heritage.
