Hi, I’m Iulian, the creator behind Cobalt Game Assets.

Games have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up fascinated by fantasy worlds from long D&D adventures to countless hours spent exploring games like Warcraft, Diablo and Dota. What stayed with me wasn’t only the gameplay, but all the little details that made those worlds believable: the icons, equipment, spells, classes, interfaces and visual storytelling.

Around ten years ago, I started creating game icons and digital assets myself. At first, it was simply something I did because I genuinely enjoyed it. Designing small fantasy objects, experimenting with different classes and building entire visual collections became a way for me to relax and disconnect from everyday life.

Over the years, that hobby grew into thousands of designs and many different collections created for games and creative projects.

And life grew too.

Today I’m a father of three wonderful children, and that has changed the way I look at the things I create. Time has become more valuable, but so has the desire to build something meaningful that can grow alongside my family.

That is why I decided to open this Etsy shop.

Cobalt Game Assets is my way of taking something that started as a personal passion and sharing it with creators around the world — game developers, Dungeon Masters, tabletop players, designers and anyone else building their own worlds.

I want every collection here to feel like something I would have been excited to discover myself: useful, consistent, atmospheric and made with care.

You’ll find fantasy RPG icons, card frames, UI elements, VTT assets and many more collections as the shop grows.

Some packs took years of experimentation to reach this point, while others are new ideas I’m still excited to explore. Either way, I hope something here helps bring your own game, character or fantasy world to life.
