where it all began
when Anthony was 8 years old and he found his Grandads wallet in his garage found of old, pre decimal coinage. This really sparked his interest with coins and with his Grandad he began to learn more about coins. By the age of 18 Anthony began coin dealing on a small basis along side working full time as a manager for a local company. As time went on Anthony was working long night shifts and unable to continue with his coin dealings, this led to his coin hobby being something of the past.
In 2012 Anthony met Lindsey, after they moved in together Lindsey began to notice Ant needed a hobby. Anthony took Lindsey's advice and began buying coins again and selling them on a very small scale from their spare bedroom. Within 6months his coin collection was growing & as was the demand for old coins.
Fast forward a year later and finding out he was going to be a dad, the spare room had to be made into a nursery for their daughter......so Anthony moved his coin collection into the garage. From there things have continued to grow (along with all the coins in his garage). Since the garage days, Anthony has since created a LTD company and Coin gift shop, has 3 other members of staff, sells pre decimal & decimal coins all over the world to customers & other dealers.
At the start of 2016 Anthony opened up the coin gift shop with the help of Lindsey. Both Anthony & Lindsey love working with coins and creating pieces so other people can enjoy coins like they do, as well as making memorable items.
With a huge collection of pre decimal & decimal coins, they can offer various coins for creating items along with most dates starting from as early as 1916. Not only do they use circulated coins to create their items but they also use proof coins for some items, such as the pound coins used to make cufflinks.
