My Journey to Collect Treasures
I moved from Vietnam to the U.S. with just two suitcases two years ago. Adjusting to a new country as a stay-at-home mom was a whirlwind, but I quickly noticed something that broke my heart: how much beautiful, perfectly good "stuff" ends up in the trash here.
We were taught to cherish what we have growing up. Every object has their souls, and we don't just throw them away when they get old—we find a new way to use them. I started visiting local thrift stores to furnish our new life, and I fell in love. I found many beautiful things like hand-painted vases, sturdy brass, and linens that felt like they had a lot of stories to tell.
I realized I didn’t want to just buy these things; I wanted to save them. That’s why I love thrifting. My shop is my way of sharing that love with you. I spend my "mom hours" hunting through dusty shelves to find treasures that deserve a second chance. I believe a gift shouldn’t have to hurt the planet to be special. When you buy from me, you’re getting something hand-picked with a mother’s care, cleaned with eco-friendly love, and ready to be part of your home’s story.
Thank you for supporting my small dream and for choosing to thrift and gift instead of buying new.
Cảm ơn bạn for helping me keep these stories alive!
