Pretty Girl Cosmetics by ColorOn Beauty was born from babes!
I always wanted to own my own business but never found the right niche. I guess I should have looked right in front of my face because as a chemist I have worked at companies who manufactured household products and pharmaceutical skin lotions my whole career.
It wasn't until my team of cheerleaders needed makeup for a cheer competition that I realized I could create the perfect green eyeshadow instead of running around town and finding a match to their team uniform in the quantities I needed. A Cheer Coach's work is never done.
I set out to create the perfect green shimmer for my entire team. They loved it so much, they told me I needed to sell it to all the cheer teams! They had the ultimate bragging rights and they spread the word that their coach made their makeup....they were so proud to sport that green shimmer!
The light went off in my head at that moment. Wow, after all these years my cheerleaders inspired me to create makeup. I had found my perfect niche and I had the skills to create products that were of high quality after having done just that for all the companies I had already worked for.
Etsy was the perfect place for me to start my business. After an few years of tending to my shop, things have taken off. I now also own Pretty Girl Cosmetics (www.prettygirlcosmetics.com) and ColorOn Professional (www.coloronpro.com).
