Expressions of pride and fandom can be tasteful! So often pride or fandom items are gaudy, which is fine at parades and conventions, but if we want a more refined expression of ourselves and our homes, we have fewer options.
As a person who once painted the largest wall in my house in rainbow hearts, and my front door as the gates of Moria, I have learned that these overt expressions are fun and empowering. When I was ready to have a peaceful, more grown up home, I realized that I could have it both ways.
My designs are my compromise between exuberant expression and a calmer aesthetic. I hope you’ll find the balance pleasing.
I’m a self-taught quilter who’s been quilting for more than 25 years. I converted to machine piecing and quilting from all hand produced quilts which has allowed me to make dozens of gifts and open this shop to share my joy of creation with others. I work exclusively on vintage Singer sewing machines, bringing you a quality product made on quality equipment.
Creation is my escape from my mundane life in retail sales, and being able to do it while enjoying my favorite movies and shows is a double stress-buster!
I’m committed to donating a percentage of my profits to The Center in Denver, which provides services and assistance to the LGBTQIA+ community.
