My Kitchen Table
A little while back I noticed my little girl acting a little off. So I watched her for that day and the only difference I noticed was how her little brother was a bite more clingy than usual. I sat her down and asked if something was bothering her and after a few minutes she had told me she didn't like her baby brother anymore because he took away our time together. Broke my heart to know she felt like that so I decided to do what I do best and teach her something crafty. We sat down at the kitchen table and made potholders. She's so great at crafting! We made so many potholders that I didn't know what to do with them. Lol. I decided to open this page and to teach her about money and owning a business. If it sold it sold, if not no pressure. We decided whatever we made here we would put towards our dream hike...a thru hike of the Appalachian Trail! A once in a lifetime family adventure. Now we are having so much fun, no boys allowed, learning a new skill and making plans for our dream adventure. All is right with her little world, my baby gets one on one time too don't worry. Lol. Once I solved the mystery and found a solution we decided to call the shop Crafty Colorful Kitchen. I had to change it slightly for Etsy but it's close enough to make my baby happy. Every order we've gotten has been such an awesome experience seeing her face light up from the order to the packaging and to the shipping. I think she watches the tracking more than I do to make sure it arrives. Lol. I'm so proud of how much she's learning in such a fun and positive environment. Thank you to everyone who's ordered or shared the shop for us. It might not seem like much but it means the world to me to watch the excitement on this end. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
