"Colours of Revolution" is a curated series of illustrated plates depicting the flags and emblems of the American Revolutionary era.
Each design is rendered in a 19th-century chromolithograph style—hand-colored in appearance, with engraved line work and period-correct palettes inspired by archival sources. The goal is not decoration alone, but historical atmosphere: to present these banners as they might have appeared in an early illustrated folio, meant to be studies, collected, and lived with.
Every print is designed as part of a larger, cohesive collection. Together, they tell the visual story of a nation in formation—its symbols, its ideals, and its evolving identity.
