¡La expresión es mi superpoder!
Ha sido a lo largo de mi vida, desde mi madre enseñándome a coser a los 7 años, hasta muchos años en el piano, hasta una carrera de diseño de moda que me llevó de 'Sin' a 'Nordstrom', y finalmente a casi 15 años en diseño de interiores. La expresión me ha impulsado a través de las muchas fases creativas de mi vida.
En 2019 cerré las puertas de mi negocio de diseño de interiores y me embarqué en un viaje de autodescubrimiento y crecimiento. A través de ese camino (con muchos altibajos y entre medias en el camino) he llegado a abrazar lo que es mi forma más verdadera de Expresión y que es conectar mi mano con el papel en forma pura y sin adulterar. ¡Soy y siempre he sido un artista! Para mí saber que toda mi vida, e incluso en las circunstancias más desafiantes, todavía honra el pequeño cosquilleo dentro de mí que decía que soy diferente. Sé que mi vida puede ser diferente.... Nunca dejé ir eso.
¡Así que aquí estoy! Una mañana hace muchos meses, la inspiración golpeó que soy literalmente la valla publicitaria de mi viaje, ¡y que mi vida PUEDE ser diferente! Mi vida no es perfecta. Seguro que todavía no estoy 'allí'. Sin embargo, me amo a mí mismo sin disculpas. Y estoy listo para llevar mi corazón en la manga (bueno, técnicamente en mi pecho, pero entiendes el punto 🤣).
Muchas formas de Expresión Inspirada están saliendo de mí todos los días, así que por favor estén atentos y vuelvan a consultar a menudo lo que sigue.

Expression is my Superpower!
It has been throughout my life - from my mom teaching me how to sew at age 7, to many years on the piano, to a fashion design career that took me from ‘Sin’ to ‘Nordstrom’, and eventually to nearly 15 years in interior design. Expression has propelled me through the many creative phases of my life.
In 2019 I closed the doors of my interior design business and embarked on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Through that path (with many highs, lows, and in-betweens along the way) I have come to embrace what is my truest form of Expression and that is connecting my hand to paper in pure and unadulterated form. I am and always have been an Artist! For me to know that all my life, and even in the most challenging circumstances, still honor the little tickle inside of me that said I am different. I know my life can be different…. I never let go of that.
So here I am! One morning many months ago, inspiration struck that I am literally the walking billboard of my journey, and that my life CAN be different! My life isn’t perfect. For sure I am not ‘there’ yet. However, I love myself unapologetically. And I am ready to wear my heart on my sleeve (well - technically on my chest but you get the point 🤣).
