ComfyMask is the sustainable solution to the requirements for face coverings. Rather like a handkerchief, we are using high quality cotton, nose wire and cord to make masks that can be washed alongside your ordinary load, many times over. We are UK homeworkers, the materials are all sourced locally supporting as many UK businesses as possible. Please respect our price as it is covering all the costs as well as keeping us in service. Our children’s ComfyMasks are one size.
Adult version are available in small but are generally a larger size with coverage from chin to nose, with venting at the sides. All have nose wires.

Please ensure you regularly wash your ComfyMask at normal temperatures, or if soiled, at high temperatures up to 90•. Please do not wear for periods of more than four hours without changing or spray sanitising. You can replace the ear loops with a long Chord , see the instructions for wear below. Wash your mask as many times as you like. Blue pleated masks come with ear loops and can be sanitised with a suitable spray and allowed to dry completely or ironed. It’s ok to wash with your normal load, wash in a small mesh bag for assurance. For corded versions (in black and red) wash normally or to remove the cord, unknot one end and insert a safety pin. Unravel the cord from the ComfyMask. To replace, use the safety pin to help thread it back

While researchers found that the virus can remain on some surfaces for up to 72 hours, evidence suggests that it’s harder to catch the virus from a soft surface. Transmission happens mostly through close contact, not from touching hard surfaces or clothing. The best thing you can do to protect yourself is to stay home. If you do go out, practice 6ft (2m) physical distancing from anyone who’s not in your household. If you suspect you got too close for too long, or someone coughed on you, there’s no harm in changing your clothing and washing it right away, especially if there are hard surfaces like buttons and zippers where the virus might linger. Wash your hands again after you put everything into the machine.

Slip the loops around your ears and use your thumb and finger to flatten the wire to shape around the nose.
Slip the chord over your head so the chin tuck is visible towards your neck when you look down. Lift the two strings up and behind your head until the mask is loosely on the chin. Adjust by holding the strings up in one hand and squeezing the nose wire with the other. Once the mask is central, pull the material around to get a fit from chin to ears. Pull the strings up and behind the head with both hands, tie a bow where it’s comfortable. Adjust your mask for a nice comfortable fit, ensuring it is sitting centrally. When not in use, slip the top knot down behind the neck.

The cord runs through the ends of your mask, so you can wear it around your neck when not in use. When in use, simply lift the mask into position and knot the cords up and behind your head. This design is preferred by health workers as it does not cause sores to the back of the ears, is adjustable and allows for a much fuller coverage of the entire lower facial area. 100% cotton and with generous dimensions, all our masks are functional and comfortable.

Our kids emoji masks and adult blue pleated masks are made with ear loops. Our black or Red masks come with chord and can be worn using a single cord which you put around the back of the neck and loop over the top of the face to tie around the back.
