Life: Pure and Simple
Hey! This is Vix from Compass Rose Homestead. Thank you so much for taking the time to check out our store. Our story is pretty simple with a dash of crazy. Our desire for our family and yours, is to provide you with pure and simple products that work. And thus, our homesteading journey began.
Our cozy homestead is located on 1.3 acres at the end of a cul-de-sac. You guessed it, this is where the crazy comes in. We were already living here when the desire to homestead hit. We had the typical massive yard to mow and not a whole lot else. This location has it's challenges including: horrible soil and keeping the critters out of the "not so homesteady" neighbor's beautiful flowerbeds.
One of the first changes we made along this journey was to start making our own laundry detergent for our family. We have 8 kiddos so we go through a ton of laundry a week. With farm kids and critters, we have really put this detergent to the test. It truly does the job by getting our grimiest work clothes clean.
Since then, we have made a variety of products that we've sold locally on a small-scale. And we are adding more products to the line up regularly. If you are looking for something specific, please ask. We may have it available, just not in this store yet.
