Origins of our Pin Board Travel Maps
Después de regresar de nuestra luna de miel en 2012, mi esposa y yo sabíamos que teníamos que explorar más mundo juntos. Entonces, el siguiente paso, naturalmente, fue crear un hermoso mapa para rastrear nuestros viajes pasados y futuros. Después de una extensa búsqueda, simplemente no pude encontrar el perfecto. Tenía una visión clara de cómo debería verse y funcionar, así que después de algunas noches diseñándolo en Photoshop/Illustrator, ese mapa finalmente se pudo imprimir. Habiendo tenido experiencia en la impresión y envoltorio de impresiones fotográficas en lienzo, solo era cuestión de conseguir los materiales y el montaje adecuados. ¡El tablero de anuncios del mapa final resultó genial! Se lo regalé a mi esposa como regalo de cumpleaños, ¡y ese primer mapa está colgado en nuestro comedor acumulando alfileres hasta el día de hoy!
Y así comenzó Conquest Maps.

After returning from our honeymoon in 2012, my wife and I knew that we had to explore more of the world together. So the next step, naturally, was to put up a beautiful map to track our past and future travels! After extensive searching, I just couldn't find that perfect one. I had a clear vision of how it should look and function, so after some late nights designing it in Photoshop/Illustrator, that map was finally able to be printed. Having had experience printing and wrapping canvas photo prints, it was just a matter of getting the right materials and assembly worked out. The final map pin board turned out great! I presented it to my wife for a birthday gift, and that very first map is hanging in our dining room accumulating pins to this day!
And so began Conquest Maps.
Our maps are designed specifically for travelers, newlyweds, newborns, retirees, and anybody who loves to explore the world! The potential for your use is endless.
