“Where Woodland Dreams Come to Life”
About the Artist — Wild and Sleepy
I’m Max — an artist and photographer of nearly 30 years. I’ve always believed that images can tell stories long before words ever arrive. My creative life began with a fascination for composition and the quiet narratives hidden inside a single frame. Over time, that love evolved into a desire to create worlds that feel like the books read to me when I was young, warm, and drifting toward sleep.
Wild and Sleepy grew from that longing for nostalgia — the kind found in bedtime stories, woodland adventures, and the gentle magic of childhood imagination. Today, my digital art blends nature, fantasy, and the sense of wonder that comes from discovering something new on a forest path or beside a quiet river.
My creative energy often starts in the morning, when I’m still half‑dreaming. Those early sparks carry me through the day, shaping sleepy dragons, curious woodland creatures, and scenes that feel like they belong in a story you once loved but forgot you remembered.
A few things about me:
• I teach people how to take better photos without needing fancy gear — storytelling matters more than equipment.
• I play with kids better than adults because I never lost the instinct for play or the belief that imagination is essential.
• My love for science fuels my curiosity; I’m always exploring, questioning, and trying to understand the world a little more deeply.
Through Wild and Sleepy, I hope to share art that brings calm, joy, and nostalgia — tiny worlds that remind you of gentler times, quiet discoveries, and the magic that still lives in the spaces between moments.
