I love creating !

I can remember when I was about 13, I found a nut and bolt Don Quixote sculpture at a yard sale (I still have it!!). I told my mom that I wanted to make stuff like that. Little did I know... years later I started doing it!

Iam a self-taught artist and welder. I started out restoring old cars, that’s where I learned the basics of welding. I really enjoyed it and in 2006 I started creating sculptures from scrap metal parts as a hobby and doing local (FL) shows.

In October of 2017 I followed my passion and took the leap! I am now a full time artist and travel to shows selling my work at festivals and fairs. It was a little scary, but I knew this is what I really wanted to do. There are a lot of challenges in this line of business of course, but once I committed I knew I made the right choice. I love what I do and being able to do it full time is a blessing.

I am often inspired by nature and a part I find that “speaks” to me until I make it into a sculpture. I enjoy creating them and am always looking to make people smile.

I love creating things. You see a rusty old tool, I see a lizard. I am constantly expanding my horizons and having fun while living life.

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

Our scrap metal animal sculptures were handmade in USA by me or my wife. Our sculptures are naturally a bit rusty and occasionally a little dirty, They are made out of all sorts of recycled metal parts. The materials used often go straight from the salvage yard, landfill or yard sale to the workbench. Our pieces would look great in any room, you can even display them outdoors. Keep in mind, they are going to continue to patina (rust). If you wish to stop or slow the process, you can treat them with a clear acrylic spray paint like Krylon® or Rustoleum®. Another option is coating with PENETROL® as it inhibits rust on metal surfaces and brings out the natural beauty.
