I love creating !
I can remember when I was about 13, I found a nut and bolt Don Quixote sculpture at a yard sale (I still have it!!). I told my mom that I wanted to make stuff like that. Little did I know... years later I started doing it!
Iam a self-taught artist and welder. I started out restoring old cars, that’s where I learned the basics of welding. I really enjoyed it and in 2006 I started creating sculptures from scrap metal parts as a hobby and doing local (FL) shows.
In October of 2017 I followed my passion and took the leap! I am now a full time artist and travel to shows selling my work at festivals and fairs. It was a little scary, but I knew this is what I really wanted to do. There are a lot of challenges in this line of business of course, but once I committed I knew I made the right choice. I love what I do and being able to do it full time is a blessing.
I am often inspired by nature and a part I find that “speaks” to me until I make it into a sculpture. I enjoy creating them and am always looking to make people smile.
