Hello!
My name is Tiffany a*k*a* The Crayon Auntie! I'm an aunt and a godmom to several tiny humans who I simply adore. And with being an aunt/godmom comes the duty of buying presents (whew, Jesus be a fence around my credit card!).
Look, I know, I know that kids love toys. But honestly, every birthday or holiday, I got tired of always giving toys that weren't unique and didn't truly enrich their lives in some way. So, I came up with the idea to create unique, cool-looking crayons for the tiny humans in my life - something cool + fun, yet would also help with their fine motor development. They loved them!
Now, of course cool-looking crayons are super awesome....however, I still wasn't completely satisfied. I also wanted to provide something more than just cool-looking crayons. I wanted my crayons to....
Be meaningful. Be empowering. Be educational. Be purposeful.
So, I decided to create crayons with a purpose. From Black history crayons that teach about brilliant Black inventors to girl power crayons that spotlight women trailblazers who broke barriers to Valentines Day crayons with positive affirmations, I had a desire to create cool-looking crayons that educate, empower, and enrich the lives of kids in a fun way.
Soooo I recently decided to share my passion and open up an Etsy shop, because I know that I'm not the only aunt/uncle/grandparent/godparent (parents too) who struggles with finding a good alternative + meaningful gift to traditional toys. Hence, the birth of "Cool Crayations!"
Cool Crayations is my baby. It's my first Etsy business. At its roots, Cool Crayations is a crayon factory that was started in my kitchen. And Cool Crayations is all about empowering + educating tiny humans, one crayon at a time -- and I'm so proud of the mission of my business!
