Ciao! Mi chiamo Nichole e faccio magia come Copper Chicken dal 2008. Viviamo in una fattoria vicino a una foresta nel Wisconsin rurale. Mio marito ed io abbiamo 3 figli (2 ragazzi e una ragazza), 3 coniglietti e 23 polli.
Siamo circondati da campi agricoli senza vicini o quartieri a cui camminare, quindi a partire da quando i miei figli erano molto piccoli, la loro immaginazione era la chiave del gioco. Mia figlia era sempre alla ricerca di nuovi amici e creature con cui giocare. Vide fate e troll nella foresta. Immaginava elfi tra gli alberi.
Quando è stato il momento per lei di prendere l'autobus per andare a scuola, non voleva andare da sola, così ho iniziato a cucire piccoli amici creature che poteva tenere in tasca. Alla fine sono diventati i nostri "Critter Tins"
Ho iniziato a fare Squishy Robots, spade laser e giocattoli Munch per i ragazzi per combattere senza rompere le cose in casa mia o ferirsi a vicenda.
Alla fine abbiamo iniziato a fare spettacoli di tipo comico e festival a tema Harry Potter.
Dopo l'inizio della pandemia, tutto è scomparso, quindi ho riavviato etsy e ho rivolto la mia attenzione all'online.
Sono così felice quando cucio e faccio cose. Adoro fare magia. Credo che i sorrisi e le risate dei bambini siano una vera magia, e vorrei inviarne alcuni a voi.
Hello! My name is Nichole and I have been making magic as Copper Chicken since 2008. We live on a farm next to a forest in rural Wisconsin. My husband and I have 3 children (2 boys and a girl), 3 bunnies, and 23 chickens.
We are surrounded by farm feilds with no neighbors or neighborhood to walk to, so starting when my children were very small, their imagination was key in play. My daughter was always looking for new friends and creatures to play with. She saw Fairies and trolls in the forest. She imagined elves in the trees.
When it was time for her to ride the bus to school, she didn't want to go alone so I started sewing little creature friends she could keep in her pocket. They eventually became our "Critter Tins"
I started making Squishy Robots, Lightsabers and Munch toys for the boys to do battle without breaking things in my house ot hurting each other.
Eventually we started doing comicon type shows and Harry Potter themed festivals.
After the pandemic started, that all disappeared, so I rebooted etsy and turned my focus to online.
I am so happy when I am sewing and making things. I love making magic. I believe children's smiles and laughter are true magic, and I'd like to send some to you.
