From Ear Cuffs to Flame Painted Copper

I started creating ear cuffs back in 2014 (see my Etsy shop 'ElegantEarCuffs') and added flame painted copper jewelry designs to my skillset in 2019.

I love the creativity of working with propane and oxygen and with a small flame I build up the colors in an almost predictable fashion on the sheet copper. Factors such as humidity, thickness and size of copper have an impact on the final design. Earrings and in fact anything in a pair or that is symmetrical have the challenge that simply with hand-eye coordination I am creating colors on the copper in layers. It's very rewarding, and knowing that every customer has a design that is unique ensures I have happy customers. I also create ear cuff pairs with flame painted copper dangles, and you don't need pierced ears.

My biggest collections are available at regional events. I live in SE Pennsylvania and travel down as far as Gatlinburg, TN and up to New York State. Visit my Upcoming Events page to see if I will be near your area.
