Our Story
Copper Rabbit Crafts was born out of our founder’s frustration at not being able to find everyday products that were safe for humans and the planet we live on. A research kick in 2021 led her to finding so many bath and body products that have harmful chemicals in them for both humans and the planet. As well as the sheer amount of unsustainable crafting and packaging options. Many big name brands with the money and influence to stop these harmful practices have yet to do anything actually impactful. And so we set about changing this, one step at a time.
Instead of traditional industry standards, CRC is founded on basic principles. We believe in people over profit and our planet over profit. We shouldn’t have to sacrifice the health and safety of either to make money, and so we don’t.
We have taken considerable time to craft our prices to reflect the actual costs associated with making our products while also making sure we use high quality ingredients without harmful chemicals, sustainable packaging with the goal of zero waste, and make sure each product gives back.
Who We Are
We are a small female owned shop based in Maryland, USA. We love making eco-friendly products that are safe for you and the environment.
We’re focused on three aspects: the health of our customers, the health of our planet, and the preservation of life. Meaning, our products do not contain harmful chemicals to humans or the planet in them which is sadly not the norm. Our packaging is designed for minimal to zero-waste so that your purchase isn’t adding to overflowing landfills, and with every purchase we give back to help preserve life.
How We Give Back
With the sale of each of our products, 5% of that sale is donated to an associated cause. Please check the description of each product to find their associated cause. An example of this is our Honey Lavender Oat Soap, which gives 5% to Bee Girl, a bee protection and education nonprofit and our Pine Soap gives 5% to the Arbor Day Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees.
Our goal is to make doing good everyday easy.
