I am a Christian mom of 3 who started Counting the Blessings 15 years ago so I could work at home and be with my children. I have a passion for sewing and the Lord has blessed my business so that I was able to accomplish my goal. I am so thankful for God and his blessings (hence the name of my business :) I love what I do and am so thankful for all the support from my family and the wonderful customers that I have had through the years to help make it possible! The items you see that show "Counting the Blessings" as the maker are designed and handmade by me. I welcome custom requests and can make most of those items in different prints or sizes. I use the highest quality material in all of my items. I am proud to say that many of the fabrics I use are either made completely in the USA or printed in the USA! Each "Counting the Blessings" brand item is carefully made by hand and a sewing machine making sure to pay attention to every detail. I also offer other items in my store that I either embroider or have designed, but are fulfilled by a printing company in the U.S.

I have a second Etsy shop called Farmland Fabrics store here: farmlandfabrics.etsy.com ! I have a lot of fabric to de-stash from all my years of sewing and I will also be selling fabric by the yard as I have always done in this shop, but I decided to move all the listings over to a completely new fabric shop.
