Rugged Oak, previously known as Country Barn Babe, has been featuring beautifully handcrafted items with a rustic flare since 2012! What sets us apart from everyone is the quality we provide! Everything is handcrafted, and made to order. Plus Made In America! I promise you will not be disappointed in your purchase or the customer service you receive!
We strive for fast turn around and THE BEST customer service around! Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. We are closed on the weekend and on major Holidays. Most messages will be responded to within 24-48 hours during hours of operation. Currently we have a 4-6 week lead time to make and then ship MOST all orders. Some orders (custom designed, or toy chests) may require additional lead time. Shipping within the US can take up to 7 business days to arrive.
Please also keep in mind, most items are offered in different stain colors.

Can I Change the Font?
Yes! We offer any font from www.dafont.com.
Custom and personalized orders
Because wood is a natural material, we cannot guarantee that the grain and the shade of wood used for your board will match the listing image.
Cutting Board Care
Washing ~ Wash your cutting board with soap and warm water and scrub well. The volume of water and mechanical scrubbing is more important than soap in flushing bacteria and other food particles off the board. After washing the cutting board, dry immediately with a towel and let it air dry standing up or on a raised rack with air flow.
Oil ~ We prefer a good butcher block oil ~ Once your cutting board is thoroughly dry, apply the oil directly onto the surface of the board. Be generous with the application, especially if the wood is dry.
When Will My Order Ship?
Most of our items are customized and because of this we do require a production time. Most of our items are shipped within 3 weeks of ordering however some items ship at 3-4 weeks. If you need an item sooner, we can ship sooner with our rush fee. Holiday lead times vary, please reference our shop banner for up to date info!
Are There Different Sizes Available?
Just depends on the item! We can make anything in the shop to accommodate your needs! Just convo us for pricing.

Do You Send A Proof?
We only send proofs upon request. Please leave the request in the same order notes box as your engraving details.
Coir Door Mat Care Instructions
The coir doormats we use to make our beautiful designs are manufactured with natural coir fibers and heavy duty vinyl backing to make them of the highest quality available. These are manufactured here in USA and NOT imported!
~Weather Protection
Keep your mat looking great for years to come by placing it in a sheltered, weather-protected area avoiding direct rainfall
~Matt Fibers
Mats are made with natural coconut fibers. There may be some initial shedding over the first month of use. Minor variations in the fiber color are normal and blend over time.
~Cleaning/Maintenance
Bush, vacuum, or shake the mat to remove excess fiber and keep it looking fresh. Use areas that are NOT engraved/painted for wiping your feet, wiping will cause fading.
