Welcome to Country Rustic Prims!
A couple of years ago, my love of country primitive decor inspired me to begin primitive crafting as a way to decorate my own home. During a period of unemployment, which was actually a blessing in disguise, I used the extra time on my hands to my advantage. I learned how to use a sewing machine, learned all about primitive techniques to make new pieces look old, and I discovered my biggest hobby. I began making things for myself, friends and family. Some of my first things were a prim witch's hat and boots, candy corn, and a delicious-looking apple pie made from an Oodlekadoodle Primitives pattern.
I became interested in selling online shortly after I started primitive crafting, but fear of failure and the unknown held me back. After spending the last two years wondering what might have been, I decided to go for it. I work passionately on each project, obsessing over small details, like whether I should add just one more jingle bell or one more dab of paint. Each project is a challenge to be better than the first. I hope you enjoy my shop.
