Frequently asked questions
Shipping information: how long before my item is shipped? What if I need my item(s) rushed?
Most of our items are processed and made to order within 3-5 business days after an order has been placed.
To be clear, "processing time" (i.e. the 3-5 business days) refers to the time needed to prepare an order, and additional time is needed for delivery/ transit. Shipping / delivery estimates do not include time for order processing. For delivery estimates, please refer to the additional FAQs below.
For those requiring an item by a specific date, we ask that you message us in advance so that we can confirm whether or not we are able to meet your needs.
Shipping information: I provided the wrong shipping information - what now?
Customers are responsible for providing their correct address upon checking out. If you have provided an incorrect shipping address, please reach out to us prior to your order shipping.
Once an order has shipped, Couronne Parties is not able to update the shipping address, and will therefore not be held responsible for items delivered to an incorrect address.
Shipping information: I am located in Canada - how long before I receive my order?
Our default shipping method is the standard mail option via Canada Post. Tracking information is not provided, and the estimated delivery time is between 3-12 business days after the item has shipped. If this option is selected, we are not responsible for items that are lost in the mail and a refund will not be provided.
Alternatively, customers may choose the upgraded "tracked" shipping method through Canada Post. Shipments are guaranteed within 2-8 business days after the item has shipped. A tracking number is provided with this option.
Shipping information: I am located in the US - how long before I receive my order?
Our default shipping method for deliveries within the United States is the tracked shipping method through USPS. Shipments are generally delivered within 3-8 business days after the item has shipped and a tracking number will be provided for each American order.
Alternatively, customers from the United States may choose the ‘priority’ mail option at an extra cost. This option guarantees delivery within 3-5 business days after the item has shipped.
Customers from the United States are responsible for customs fees, if any.
Shipping information: I am located outside of Canada and the US - how long before I receive my order?
International customers in over 20 countries will have their items sent through a tracked service, and items will arrive between 5-21 business days after they have shipped. Please note that these shipping timelines are estimates, not guarantees. This includes:

Custom orders: I'd like to create a custom item - can you help?
If you have something specific in mind, please do not hesitate to send us a message. We welcome custom orders and would be happy to create something unique for you!
Custom orders: I'd like to see a proof of my custom topper - is this possible?
Proofs are available upon request only after a purchase for a custom topper has been made. Each order is limited to a maximum of two proofs.
Sizing information: I'm not sure how big my topper should be - can you help?
We typically recommend going 1” smaller than the width of the top tier of your cake so that it looks proportional. For example, if you have a 8” wide cake, we would recommend a 7” wide topper.
There are some exceptions to this rule, so please read each products' description carefully, or send us a private message if you have any questions!

Where does your shop ship from? Will I be affected by duties?
Our head office is located in Toronto, Canada, and all of our Canadian orders will be shipped from this location. Orders sent to Canadian addresses will not have any additional duties or taxes beyond what is paid when checking out.
Orders from the United States will ship from Niagara Falls, New York via USPS. Although rare, it is possible for some orders to accrue additional taxes and/ or duties given that we are a Canadian shop.
International orders are also shipped from the United States (New York), and buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Additional fees are dependent on country laws, and the total order amount.
