Words matter: Encourage and build each other up
I started Craft Boss because I know the power that words have on people. Encouraging words used to build up someone up can have a profound impact on someone's life. That's why I wanted to start Craft Boss, to encourage other's with my uplifting designs. I hope that by purchasing one of my items you will join me in encouraging others. Something so simple as wearing a necklace or a pair of earrings with a simple encouraging phrase has the power to make someone's day.
Art and crafts has always been a getaway for me throughout my lifetime; it's my refuge, my getaway and my time for prayer. I have been a crafter for over 20 years - dabbling in various mediums such as knitting, cross-stich, painting, hemp jewelry, card making, scrapbooking, sign making, lettering, and pendant jewelry. After many years of giving my creations as gifts to my friends and family, my dad consistently told me that I could start my own business and sell my items. It took a lot of nudges from him, but I finally decided to start selling my items back in 2016. I started with sign making and made custom signs for friends and family. On Etsy, I sent my sign creations to over 25 different states! After taking a break from my business from 2018-2019, in 2020, I began to sell jewelry and custom photo ornaments.
In 2021, I decided to dedicate my business to my father who passed away in December of 2020. My Dad and I would have numerous conversations about what projects I was working on and the business strategies I had. I miss him daily, but I'm grateful to have my number one fan in heaven!
