Craft Cooper: Weaving Dreams Through Struggles and Skill
In 2024, We—stood at a crossroads. Each came from a different world: Anjali was an MBA with a deep passion for rural development, Shubham had 8 years of customer service and retail experience, who knew the pulse of supply chains. What united them was a single dream—to build something that mattered.
The Struggles
The beginning was anything but easy.
Anjali had to fight societal pressure for leaving a secure job to work in dusty villages. She went door-to-door convincing women to join hands with Craft Cooper. To further upgrade her family business, Anjali Rathore personally visited villages and sought support from skilled women artisans.
Shubham, the customer whisperer, handled front-end sales but was constantly turned down by stores and customers who preferred cheap, factory-made goods. “Handmade is outdated,” they told him. But he didn’t stop. He collected feedback, redesigned packaging, and learned to tell stories behind each product.
With limited savings, the team worked 16-hour days. They shared one laptop, packed their own orders, and handled everything from website updates to village training programs.
Today, Craft Cooper empowers over 50+ artisans, most of them women, working with eco-friendly materials and reviving lost art forms.
The Message
Craft Cooper is not just a brand—it is living proof that purpose-driven business can change lives. It reminds us that even the strongest dreams can begin from the ground, and grow, with grit, teamwork, and heart.
