A Himbo And A Gremlin Make Things For Fun And Profit
Dallas started out making tails for himself around 2015-2016, mostly for cosplays and Halloween costumes. He enjoyed making them so much, he decided that it would be a good way to make a little extra money for bills and such, given that being an adult absolutely sucks. Thus, CreationsByRubyRed was born. Unfortunately, due to personal real life issues, the store was put on vacation for far too long, seemingly never to be touched again.
In August of 2020, Dallas finally had his life sorted out enough to consider reopening the shop- with the possibility of selling not only tails, but also things such as bathbombs, resin charms, and soaps. Because Dallas is neurodivergent, and it is a requirement to try out *all* of the things. He asked his kid brother, Tenko- who had also been making tails for himself- to join the business. They decided to rebrand, since the original name was, not only, garbage, but was also made before Dallas knew who he really was as a person.
It didn't take long for the two brothers to come up with a new name, fittingly rebranding the shop to CraftedByCryptids.
And then promptly fall off the face of the earth for 5 years.
In August of 2025, Dallas remembered that this was a thing and decided to try again.
And then Dallas' wife, Anna, got in on the whole crafting things idea. So here we are.
