How I started My journey with Diamond Pens
Hi My name is Steve and I'm the owner of Crafted Makes, I started my journey back in 2018 when I got very interested in resin while watching YouTube,
so I did what all makers do and invest in everything you needed to make beautiful resin and wood pen blanks, and trust me its not a cheap hobby lol well that's how it started, but I enjoyed it so much I then opened up my Etsy shop where I put up my first listing.
I was so excited I just couldn't wait to see what would happen, but 2,3,4 months went by and nothing, then one evening a notification came through, SALE I was so excited I made more, then more sales came in, but it just wasn't enough to retire on lol.
This went on for about 2 - 3 years then back in 2021 I had a message from a customer asking can I make a diamond pen, I asked what's that but decided to go ahead a make it for her and I was very supprised when she loved it, she then proceded so ask for more and more so I thought maybe I should add this product to my shop so I did back in January 2021, then a day or two later I woke up to 5 orders then more and more to the point when back in mid 2022 after the sad loss of our granddaughter I decided that life was to short and then went full time with part time in the docks here in southampton and the rest is history,
I now make some of the most unique diamond pens out there trying every material I can to make that one of a kind diamond pen that customers will love to use for a long time.
And that how my journey started.
