We are a Christian, Veteran owned business.
Handcrafted Holiday Traditions came out of a desire to share what gives us great happiness and joy.
Hi, we are Pamela and Russell, the artist and founders of Handcrafted Holiday Traditions. We specialize in offering the supplies and tools for designing and creating vintage-inspired holiday ornaments, plaques, and home decorations that bring timeless charm to any space.
Pam's creative journey began in the 1980s, crafting dolls and primitive folk art ornaments. Over the years, as trends evolved, so did her artistic passions. A few years ago, she discovered the art of decoupage and mixed media through stunning works showcased on YouTube. One artist from Poland, in particular, captivated her with her beautiful ornaments and plaques. She was instantly hooked! Inspired and eager to learn, She immersed myself in videos and tutorials, soaking up everything she could about these intricate techniques.
When she began replicating these designs, she realized that many of the necessary materials and supplies were beyond her budget. Instead of giving up, she took a leap and connected with wholesalers and distributors, not only to create her own pieces with her partner and husband, Russ, but also to launch a store that offered high-quality, affordable supplies for fellow creators. That’s how our art supply store, Handcrafted Holiday Traditions, was born.
Over time, we expanded our collection to include premium European and American-made mediums, rice papers, and more. Yet, she still faced challenges finding affordable bases for my designs. So, we decided to invest in a laser cutter to produce our own custom MDF bases available in our shop (link below). What started as a personal solution has grown into a thriving product line now available at select retailers nationwide.
This journey has been nothing short of a blessing, and we give all the glory to God for the continued opportunities and success we’ve experienced. Every day, we are grateful for the chance to create, share our passion, and inspire others.
