Siempre me ha gustado la joyería única e inusual y los viajes a las joyerías y boutiques siempre fueron decepcionantes. No me gustaban las cosas que podía pagar y no podía pagar las cosas que me gustaban.
Crecer en una Polonia poscomunista me ha enseñado que si quiero tener algo único, tengo que hacerlo yo mismo. No había tiendas de abalorios, así que la única forma de hacerlo era usar abalorios de collares y pulseras rotos, cintas cortadas de prendas viejas, botones extraños encontrados aquí y allá y conchas o pequeñas pepitas de ámbar báltico encontradas en la playa (el mar Báltico). deja pedazos de ámbar en la playa durante una tormenta).
Y así comenzó mi viaje hacia la fabricación de joyas y aún continúa, aunque no hago mucho de eso. Solo lo suficiente para mí y algunas piezas extra para vender.
¿Por qué entonces una tienda de suministros y no una joyería? Los suministros son lo que amo más que las joyas que hago. Me encanta conseguir nuevos suministros, inspirarme en ellos e imaginar en lo que podrían convertirse.

I have always loved unique and unusual jewelry and trips to the jewelry shops and boutiques were always dissapointing. I didn't like the things I could afford and couldn't afford the things I liked.
Growing up in a post-communist Poland has taught me that if I want to have something unique I have to make it myself. There were no bead shops, so the only way to go was to use beads from broken necklaces and bracelets, ribbons cut off from old garments, odd buttons found here and there and shells or tiny Baltic Amber nuggets found on the beach (the Baltic sea leaves pieces of amber on the beach during a storm).
And so my journey into jewelry making began and it still continues, although I don't make a lot of it. Just enough for myself and a few extra pieces to sell.
Why a supplies shop then and not a jewelry shop? Supplies is what I love more than the jewelry I make. I love to get new supplies, be inspired by them and imagine what they could become.
