Frequently asked questions
Can I delay the shipment of my order?
Yes. Have to place an order with a delayed shipping date? Just leave a note while placing your order or send is a message with your suited delivery dates.
Will I be liable to import duties and custom charges?
Each country has its own taxes, so your purchase may be subject to import duties or customs charges. These are decided and collected by your local customs office when the order arrives in your country, and they would be your responsibility as the buyer.
For USA buyers: Until recently, a free trade agreement between the USA and Morocco meant no import duties applied. However, due to new tariffs introduced by U.S. authorities, some orders may now incur customs charges. We wish we could offer more certainty, but unfortunately, these rules are set and enforced by U.S. Customs, not by us.

What else do I need to know?
Last but not least, please keep in mind that our customer’s satisfaction is our #1 focus and the reason we work every day. If there’s anything else we can do for you, feel free to write us. We'll be thrilled to assist you :)
How long does it take to make a custom rug?
Each rug is handwoven on a traditional loom, one at a time. Depending on the size and complexity, weaving typically takes 2–6 weeks. We'll give you a clear timeline before we begin.
What materials do you use?
We use high-quality, natural Moroccan wool, hand-dyed with traditional techniques. Some rugs like Boucherouite may include cotton or recycled fabric details. Let us know if you prefer all-natural or undyed wool.
How do I clean and care for my Moroccan rug?
Regular vacuuming (without a beater bar) and gentle shaking are best. For deeper cleaning, professional dry cleaning is recommended. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading, and rotate your rug occasionally for even wear.
Are your rugs ethically made?
es. Our rugs are handwoven by skilled artisans in Morocco in fair working conditions. We work directly with weavers and pay fair wages. No child or forced labor is ever used.
Can you replicate a rug I saw online or in a photo?
We can create a rug inspired by a photo, but because each rug is handmade, no two will ever be exactly alike. Small variations in color, pattern, and size are part of the beauty and authenticity of a handcrafted piece.
How can I track my order?
Once your rug is shipped, we will provide a tracking number. Please note that tracking may be limited in some regions once the package leaves Morocco.
