Vintage Inspired Fabric crafts and Supplies
After adopting our treasure and joy a 2 year old boy we realized that working from home would make me available to meet his needs and add to our income.
Crafty Devotion which began as a hobby after the empty nest and adult children were moving out of the house turned into a part time business.
In addition to my handmade items more craft supplies and vintage finds were added. This choice had allowed me to enjoy my love of art, handmade, lace and vintage and children.
Now it is 2021 and our son is 7 years old. I can be flexible and able to pick him up from school on short notice. He is a intelligent joyful boy who is taking longer than most to adjust behaviorally at school. I am so glad I can work closely with his school and able to meet his needs.
The beginnings of Crafty Devotion before adopting our beloved 2 year old.
Nearing the empty nest after spending over 20 years raising my children I discovered I loved to hand craft. I had been keeping my hands busy crocheting while watching shows with my family.
During a surgery recovery and painful kidney stones, I watched YouTube videos and was inspired to try my hand at different crafts. I soon discovered that the creativity I used to raise my children and teach could also be used in the Crafting community.
I came up with my own technique for flower making and decided to share it with the world.
I soon created my own Diy YouTube channel and began making various supplies available to my newfound subscribers thus Crafty Devotion on Etsy was born.
