The following Privacy Policy describes the collection, use, and sharing of information when any item is purchased from BeccaHollinsArt. Or when you contact, or otherwise use any of the services provided through Etsy.com or any related sites.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any practises of third parties which are not owned or controlled by BeccaHollinsArt, including any third party services accessed through Etsy, or Etsy itself. For information on these practises, please visit the Etsy Privacy Policies.

Your Information

In order for me to fulfil an order, you must provide certain information which you have authorised Etsy to provide to me. This information includes your Name, Email Address, Postal Address, Payment Information, along with any details of the product you are ordering. In addition to this, you may contact me directly to discuss a custom order or other service, in which case you may choose to provide additional personal information which is specific to your request.

Why do I need this information?

There are multiple circumstances in which I will collect, use and share your information. These legal bases include the following:
• As needed to provide you with any products or services, such as any information used to fulfil your orders, settle disputes, or provide any additional customer support.
• When you have provided your affirmative consent, for example, if you were to sign up to a mailing list. This consent can be freely revoked at any time.
• If necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order, or in connection with a legal claim. Such as retaining information about your purchases of products and services if required by tax law and as necessary for the purposes of my legitimate interests, if not overridden by your rights or interests. My legitimate reasons may include:
1. Using your information to improve my products and services, by providing requested services and in my legitimate interest to improve my products and services.
2. Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. Using your information as necessary to comply with any obligations I have agreed to as part of the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

Sharing and Disclosure of Information

Your personal information is important to my business, and I choose to share this information only in very limited circumstances and for very limited reasons. These reasons include the following:
I share information with Etsy where necessary, to provide my products and services under both Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
I share information with various trusted third parties, in order to allow them to perform services needed to fulfil your orders. An example of these third parties would be the sharing of your personal information to delivery companies, in order for your items to be delivered to you. Any information shared with these companies is only to the extent needed for them to perform these services.
If I merge or sell my business, your information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, however only to the extent permitted by law.
I may collect, use, retain and share your information if I have a genuine belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraudulent and other illegal activity, security or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property and safety of my customers or others.

Data Retention

Your personal information will only be retained for as long as necessary to provide you with any products and services as described in my Privacy Policy. I may also be required to retain this information in order to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce my agreements. Data will generally be kept for the following time period: 4 years.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside of the EU
Your personal information may be stored through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer your information outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

Your Rights

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:
• Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
• Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
• Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
• Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
