My name is Beata, and I’m the person behind ‘Crave Stitch’.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about fashion – from a very young age, I was making my own clothes. Throughout the years, working for fashion brands, developing my businesses, and traveling around the globe I learned a great deal about fashion and garment making which inspired me to get back to the simple joy of just making clothes. And this is how ‘Crave Stitch’ was born – a pattern collection for the people, who want to craft their distinctive style, that would set them apart from the crowd.
✺✺ My story ✺✺
As a young girl, I loved the creative process. As a teenager, I started getting into fashion by creating clothes for myself and my friends. After I graduated from the university, I decided to explore fashion even more and ended up working for Yves Saint Laurent. I was given first-hand access to see how their meticulous luxury goods were made. I was captivated by the level of care invested in crafting every single piece, and, most importantly, I discovered my immense appreciation for excellence.
This led me to create my first luxury bags and accessories brand that combined my loves in early 2013. Since then, this journey has snowballed into a creative odyssey that has spanned over a decade.
Over the years, I have created seven accessories and clothing collections and collaborated with highly skilled sample mechanists and pattern makers from around the world. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders and see my products manufactured alongside luxury brands.
I’ve traveled around the world and resided in 5 different countries across multiple continents. When I discovered Bali, Indonesia, what was initially intended to be a one-month stay turned into a year-long journey in this magical, creative sanctuary. Bali’s vibrant green rice paddies and the warm embrace of the island’s ocean provided boundless inspiration. The island became the wellspring of my creativity, the embodiment of tropical vibes, and the foundation for forging deeper connections with the people I encountered along the way.
I started to reform the bond with nature that I had as a child growing up outside Vilnius, Lithuania. I started to think about nature more and more – how each leaf is unique, and how fashion should be as well. I wanted to create something that takes nature into account, thinking about how it should be specific for the person, and how it should be more genuine, sustainable, and brave.
✺✺ Inspiration ✺✺
I firmly believe that fashion should not be disposable, and every piece of clothing should be seen as an investment – a garment with a unique story and a remarkable journey. I take pride in presenting a sustainable yet luxurious approach for women who aspire to create and craft their dream clothing. ‘CRAVE STITCH’ allows me to share my designs and allows every customer to make them uniquely yours.
I am honored to have created ‘CRAVE STITCH’ for home dressmakers and sewists worldwide, offering patterns tailored to various skill levels, from novice to seasoned experts. Sewing can be incredibly satisfying, and the sense of accomplishment when wearing your newly made dress makes people curious about where you got this piece from, and with a chuckle on your face you proudly say – “I made it myself”.
I hope my designs will inspire you to live your most remarkable life!

Frequently asked questions
I can't find my files!
Whenever you order a digital download your files are available immediately/within a few minutes.
If you have ordered with an Etsy account: To access your files, just go to the main Etsy homepage and click your profile picture on the top right-hand side, then a drop-down menu will appear. Just click purchases and downloads and your files will be here ready to download whenever you want!
If you have ordered as a guest: Etsy will send you a confirmation email with a link to download your patterns.
Please note, you will not be able to access and download your files from the Etsy app, you will need to use a browser.
What paper sizes does the pattern come in?
The patterns all come with the following paper sizes:
- A4 (print at home)
- A0 (large format, to be printed at a print shop)
- US letter (print at home) working on this format
Please note, you only need to download and print the files you will be using.
For example, if you are printing at home with an A4 printer/paper. You will need to download all files marked "A4" and can ignore the other files.
I ordered but sent the files to an old email address, can you help?
In this case, please send me a message with proof of your order, or order number and the name that the order was placed under and I will send the files over as soon as I can. If you do not have access to this, I will need the full name of the order.

I can't open/print the files!
There are various reasons why this could be, but I've listed the most common below:
- Some of the files will need to be "unzipped" before you can use them, as they have been compressed to allow the correct file size to be uploaded to Etsy. This is very easy to do, just google how to unzip a file on (Windows or Mac depending on what you are using) and you should be able to open the files!
- You must open them with a program that can open PDFs, such as adobe reader (Adobe reader can be downloaded for free online). Please do not use Microsoft Word, as this doesn't like pdf files and can distort your files.
- "The file is corrupted" pop-up appears. Please re-download the file as it may have been corrupted during the download process.
The file won't print correctly!
There are various reasons why a file may not print to the correct size, or not print correctly at all. I've listed the most common reasons below:
- You are printing the wrong file for your printer. All too often, people get confused by the different files and the paper sizes. Please check what paper and printer size you are using and make sure the file name corresponds to that size.
- Your pattern is printing off the edge of the paper. This could be because you are trying to print the wrong size file. Or it could be because you haven't got your scale right. Make sure your scale is set to either "100% scale" or "actual size". Make sure you are not printing with "fit to page" checked.
How do I put the pattern together?
To put the pattern together at home, you will need to print all pattern pages. Once these are printed you should then cut around the border of each page. (I recommend only cutting the bottom edge and right-hand side to make it easier to tape together!) Then, tape the pages together, carefully matching the numbered and lettered pattern tiles. Once you've taped all your pages together, you will have a full pattern ready to cut your size!
I don't have a printer, do you offer physical printed patterns?
At the moment I don't offer physical patterns.
Why is the cost different at checkout than shown on the homepage?
Unfortunately, this isn’t a glitch. The reason for this is due to ‘digital tax’ for customers in the U.K. & EU.
If you are buying from the UK or EU you will be charged digital tax on any digital products you buy. You’ll notice the same thing happens on any digital products across Etsy and on other websites too.
The reason it changes within Etsy is that you are likely viewing Etsy from the worldwide version of the website. As US customers (for example) don’t have to pay this tax, Etsy shows the base price and then adds the relevant taxes at checkout when it can determine your purchase country.
