Some of my fondest memories as a child were the days when I could sneakily steal my mom's prized Tupperware containers, one BIG spoon and some water from the sink. Some people may be asking "Why? What strange hobbies did this girl living in rural West Virginia have?". The only real answer was that I spent my days out in nature with a few tools, rocks, sticks, flowers, leaves and the occasional tube of glitter making fairy potions and mud pies. As I moved into adulthood the imaginative creations didn't stop. I discovered that I enjoyed painting with watercolors, I painted murals on our outdoor chairs for the porch and began using bones, thrifted wood bowls and creating with whatever I could find as a low income 20 something. It has now became a way of life as I intertwine my spirituality and love for the phrase "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" to make new creations. Pyrography is easily my favorite medium, but you will also see that I still enjoy using mixed mediums to bring my imagination to life. Thank you so much for stopping by, it means the world to a girl in her basement creating out of joy and self care.
