Hello and welcome to Carriage House Hill. Here you will find unique handpicked vintage items such as, jewelry, brass items, vintage glass, home decor and other odd things. You may find some handcrafted oddities made with vintage items I created in my home studio. I am very selective with what I collect and offer in my shop. Mostly, all my offerings are small in size, and perhaps a bit odd, but fun to collect. I love to hunt for specific vintage and antique items that I'd want to collect. Sometimes I keep them for awhile then offer them to you when I decide they need a new home. For me selling on Etsy is an art form, a way for me to be creative with the items I look for down to photographing each piece in a pleasing way. I hope you enjoy my little shop. WHAT YOU WILL FIND HERE AT CARRIAGE HOUSE HILL- All items that I offer are vintage, or handmade with vintage items. That means they are not new and may have flaws. It is vitally important that you look at all photos and read the full description before purchasing. Ask questions as well, if needed.

SHIPPING - Once an item leaves my hands at the post office, I am no longer responsible. However, if you have any issues with shipping, I am happy to help in any way I can.

PLEASE SHOP WITH CONFIDENCE- I am an experienced seller. I previously worked for a company where I listed, sold, and shipped items on their eBay store. I also have been selling on Etsy for over 10 years. I have sold and shipped many thousands of dollars worth of items. With that being said, I am human and I can make a mistake. If I do make a mistake I'll do what I can to fix it. Being a collector myself for over 20 years with many hours of research, I am confident in my ability to offer you authentic vintage and antique items. All items I sell that are vintage are at least 20 years old with antique items being at least 100 years old.

RETURNS - are accepted if shipped back to me within 7 business days. Buyer is responsible for returned shipping costs. There are always exceptions of course. If I made an error, I will take responsibility.

HISTORY BEHIND CARRIAGE HOUSE HILL- This shop name is really special to me. My family and I had the privilege of living in an authentic carriage house that was built in 1913 by James J. Hill. Mr. Hill created The Great Northern Railway system. He was a very wealthy man and had several homes. His interests also included farming and owned a very large farm north of St. Paul. Today this is a town where our little carriage house was located. Across the street stood a mansion that Hill built. It burned down in the 1950's. We lived in the servants quarters above the carriage house up until two years ago. My husband and I raised our children there. This little carriage house is no longer with us. The land was purchased and in its place stands a brand new large home. We have a lot of wonderful memories that will always be with us. So, this shop name is a tribute to that little carriage house that Hill built and the precious memories we shared.
