CreativeStarling grew out of a layoff and a calling. Leaving the corporate world after 25+ years, I turned a lifelong passion for textile arts into a second career centered on the thing I love most: making vestments worthy of the liturgy they serve.

I'm an active Episcopal Anglo-Catholic, lead of my parish's Altar Guild, and someone who understands vestments from both sides of the sacristy door — as a maker and as a caretaker of the altar. That dual perspective shapes everything I design and teach: the cut of a chasuble, the fall of a stole, the weight of a fabric against a season of the Church year.

My patterns and resources are built for makers who want to do this well — with couture technique, thoughtful materials, and a genuine understanding of what these garments are for.
