Hello and welcome! My name is Steph and my happy place is in my sewing room. I started Creativity Burns as a way to share my love for everything creative! I make a variety of homemade and handcrafted items such as tote bags, purses, bowl cozies, bookmarks, curtains, aprons, scarves, hats, booties, blankets, ice skate soakers, & keychains. I'm also dabbling in graphic design and sublimation which has allowed me to also offer custom items like mugs and tumblers to my shop as well. My goal is to be able to share some of my creations with those around me as I grow my business and do what I love. I'm constantly finding new things to create and I'm so happy to be creating things that bring me joy, sharing that with others, and learning so many new things along the way.
Skate Story: My ice skate soakers have quickly become one of my most popular products and I just wanted to share where the inspiration for those came from! My daughter started ice skating right after she turned 6 and she instantly fell in love! As she progressed she decided she wanted a pair of skate soakers of her own, but we had trouble finding ones that she liked, so I decided to make her some! Both of my kids now love to ice skate and they both have their own Mamma made skate soakers. With the encouragement of friends and family members, I decided to sell them in my Etsy store and I’m so glad I did. I’ve spent many hours getting my pattern and sizing right for the many variations in skate blades and I’m so flattered and grateful for the positive response I have received. I have now sold my skate soakers from Australia to Canada, and in almost all 50 of the United States! It makes my heart so happy to know that my soakers are being used by fellow ice skating lovers from all across the world!!
