Who We Are

The items for sale on this ETSY site are made by Anishinaabe/Ojibwe artisans primarily from the village of Pine Point, Minnesota. Pine Point is located in the Southeast corner of the White Earth Nation Reservation. Bam'idizowigamig means "A place for supporting oneself" in Ojibwemowin. Bam'idizowigamig Creator's Place is a small manufacturing and training center located within the village of Pine Point and provides jobs and job training accessible to villagers. It is a place where Ojibwe traditions are honored and respected. All proceeds from sales are invested back into supporting the artisans of the village. Bam'idizowigamig Creator's Place is a non-profit 501(c)3 which has a board of directors made up of primarily Native American Members.
