Creatures for Whimsical Souls
There is something extra special about holding an Artdoll in your hands. No other art form can come close to the impact and presence of an Artdoll, and that's why I keep creating them. For nearly 10 years I have been enchanted by this art and work hard to bring more of their strange magic into the world. Few things give me as much joy as seeing people's eyes light up when they see an Artdoll. They awaken our imaginations and bring back that pure child-like wonder we all used to feel, and to me, that is priceless.
Not everyone is an artist, but everyone can participate in creative expression with an Artdoll by posing and displaying, carrying to conventions, photographing, or imagining their own stories for them.
Beautiful to look at and display, therapeutic to touch and hold, there is no other art form that brings me as much enjoyment.
I have practiced art since I was old enough to hold a marker and dabbled in more mediums than I can keep track of. I studied impressionistic painting throughout most of my school years and became a self-taught sculptor as I neared high school graduation.
Art has been my only true home in this world, which is often more than challenging as a neurodivergent creature. I profoundly struggled through my education, so when it came time to choose a collage path, I chose to enter the workforce. When that world chewed me up and spit me out, I turned to the one thing in life that came naturally to me; art. Though it was hard to accept at first, I was born to be an artist.
